TAGGED OUT IN FLORIDA
Turkey hunting comes with a unique set of challenges. Today brought a cat that wouldn’t leave us alone kept the turkeys away from our blind, like turkey hunting isn’t hard enough without a cat running around! Mike Lee Sr. and Chris Cooper called it in and tagged ’em out though.
IF LOOKS COULD KILL
Michael Lee & Anna Vogler kicking off opening weekend of turkey season in South Georgia. No pressure on Anna but she is after her first gobbler! The decoys are out, and an ol’ tom has been gobbling non-stop. They’ve been patiently working this gobbling turkey in for hours for a shot. Anna was patient and ready!
GEORGIA TEN
We bagged a 10-pointer after waiting all day with doe after doe walking past our blind. We knew this big boy was around and saw him on the camera last year but we were surprised to see him here! Our hamstrings were burning, just waiting around and trying to remain stable to get a clear shot off. Comment below about a hunting experience you had where you were trapped in an awkward position!
OLD GEORGIA BUCK
We are having a great time hunting in South Georgia when and old mature buck shows up that we know well. He finally slips out of the tree line for a clear shot. You can’t beat hunting the early rut in Georgia!
