You can’t have this much fun going to Walmart on a Saturday! One afternoon in Canada with Wild Valley Outfitters, and it did not take long to get western. By the time the dust settled, Geese and ducks were on the ground before dark. A-frames in the field. Canada goose decoys out. The wind is howling at 20 mph. Temps are hovering around 35 degrees. Dark geese are working hard and finishing right where they’re supposed to. One of those afternoons where everything just clicks. Plenty of laughs and plenty of birds locked up and coming in strong. By the end of the day, another 40 dark geese were on the ground, and a crew that earned every bit of it. Cold hands. Big volleys. Full straps. This is why we come to Canada.
